Wayde Thompson, FNP
Wayde Thompson, FNP is a dedicated healthcare professional originally from Bay Minette, Alabama, now residing in West Mobile. Wayde graduated from Coastal Alabama Community College in Brewton, Alabama, in May 2020 with an Associate in Applied Science degree and promptly began working at Springhill Medical Center as an Intensive Care Unit nurse.
In August 2021, Wayde earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois, achieving both President’s List and Dean’s List honors. Following this, he joined North Baldwin Infirmary’s Intensive Care Unit in October.
Continuing his educational journey, Wayde graduated in April 2024 from Chamberlain University with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, once again making both the President’s List and Dean’s List. He currently works at Mainstreet Family Care, an urgent care facility, and is the newest provider at Bay Minette Family Care.
Wayde brings extensive experience in intensive care, medical-surgical nursing, emergency medicine, and senior behavioral health to his roles, ensuring comprehensive and high-quality care for his patients.
Wayde is married to a fellow Family Nurse Practitioner, and together they have one son. They have been married since April 16, 2021, and their shared commitment to healthcare strengthens their professional and personal lives.
